Scrap yards found by country, region and city, with today's prices alongside. Every listing shows where its details came from and when they were last checked, because a yard directory that cannot say that is not worth trusting.

How the locator works
Listings come from named sources. Official dealer registers where governments publish them, recycling trade bodies, and each yard's own published details. Nothing is added from anonymous directories or bulk-collected map data, and nothing is published until it has been verified against a source that appears on the listing.
Prices come from the same live board as the rest of the site. Each country page carries its own currency, unit and market factor, so the number beside the yard list is the reference for that market rather than a translation of the US rate.
Your location stays in your browser. The nearest-first button asks your browser for a position and sorts the list on your device. Nothing is sent anywhere.
What a listing tells you
Name, address, region, opening hours where published, the materials the yard states it accepts, a phone number and website where the yard has made them public, and the source with a verification date.
What it does not tell you is what the yard will pay you today. Yard prices move with the metal and differ between two yards in the same town by more than a week of market movement. Use the price board to judge whether a quote is reasonable, then call.

Coverage is growing country by country from official registers first, because those are the most reliable and the slowest to assemble. Regions that show no yards yet say so rather than showing placeholders.
If you operate a yard and want your listing corrected or added, the contact page is the route. Listings are verified before they appear, which takes a few days.
Before you drive
Three things worth confirming on the phone, because any one of them can waste the trip: whether the yard takes your material, whether there is a minimum weight, and what identification they need. The minimum load calculator works out whether the trip is worth making at all, and the grade finder settles what you are actually holding before you arrive.
