Fiat catalytic converters run about $25 to $350 for one original unit in 2026. Ducato diesel particulate filters lead at $60 to $350, Ducato catalysts bring $50 to $300, Scudo and Croma units $50 to $225, Punto, Panda and 500 units $40 to $150, and 1.3 MultiJet diesel catalysts $25 to $125.
Almost nothing here is Fiat only
Fiat sits at the centre of a group that also owns Alfa Romeo and Lancia, and it has built vehicles jointly with PSA and Ford for decades. The catalyst databases reflect all of it, to an unusual degree.
Four verified examples make the point.
One 1.2 petrol reference covers the Fiat 500, Panda and Punto Evo alongside a Lancia and a Ford Ka. A wider entry for the same engine family adds the Grande Punto and an Alfa Romeo MiTo, bringing it to eight vehicles across three marques.
One 1.3 MultiJet diesel reference covers the Fiat Punto Evo, Doblo and Fiorino together with the Citroen Nemo, Peugeot Bipper and Alfa Romeo MiTo. Six vehicles, four badges.
One 1.6 JTD reference covers the Fiat Punto and Doblo with the Lancia Musa and both the Alfa Romeo Giulietta and MiTo.
And one 1.4 T-Jet reference covers the Fiat Grande Punto and Bravo with the Alfa Romeo MiTo and the Lancia Delta.
So the instruction on this brand is short. Find the code stamped on the shell and quote that. If a buyer says they do not handle Fiat, the reference is almost certainly in their list under Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Peugeot, Citroen or Ford.

The Ducato is where the money is
On a brand built around small cars, the van is the exception worth knowing about.
The Ducato is built by the long-running Fiat and PSA joint venture, and sold as the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper. One reference covers the Fiat Ducato III 2.2 JTD, the Peugeot Boxer II 2.2 D and the Citroen Jumper II together.
Catalyst databases record the manufacturer of these units as Fapcat Sevel, and filters from that maker are quoted at roughly $63 to $349. That puts a Ducato particulate filter at the top of the Fiat range by a clear margin, well above anything in the car list.
As with every diesel, the exhaust holds more than one saleable part. The oxidation catalyst comes first at $25 to $125, and the filter behind it is separate and usually worth more. Ask which one a quote covers.
Why the car numbers are modest
Worth saying plainly rather than letting the table disappoint.
Fiat’s volume models are small cars with small engines: the Panda, the 500, the Punto, the Seicento. Small engines take small catalysts, and small catalysts hold less precious metal. A Panda unit at $40 to $150 is not a poor quote, it is what that size of converter contains.
The brand’s diesels compound it. A 1.3 MultiJet catalyst is platinum-led with very little palladium and essentially no rhodium, which is why it sits at $25 to $125.
The compensating factor is the one above: because the references are shared so widely, a Fiat unit is rarely an unfamiliar item, and a code-based quote is usually straightforward to obtain.
Reading a Fiat reference
Fiat numbers appear in a few recognisable formats, and units often carry more than one.
Many run in a long numeric series such as 52152111, 52166324, 52078962 and 50542572, sometimes with an H-prefixed variant like H51923615 or H51866249. Others carry short alphanumeric codes stamped on the shell in styles such as 3C-595J, GTBC-07 and GMBC-06.
Photograph everything you can find rather than choosing one. Buyer databases index these together, and sending the full set removes any question about which version of the part you have.
Fiat prices around the world
Platinum, palladium and rhodium settle in US dollars, so a Fiat reference holds the same metal value in every market. Currency and local buyer depth are what change. The table converts the Fiat span into each market’s money at today’s rate.

Fiat sells across Europe, South America, North Africa and parts of Asia. In Brazil and Argentina the range differs from the European one, though the same engine families and references run through much of it.
Questions people actually ask
How much is a Fiat catalytic converter worth as scrap?
Between roughly $25 and $350 for one original unit in 2026. MultiJet diesel catalysts bring $25 to $125, Cinquecento and Uno units $25 to $100, Punto, Panda and 500 units $40 to $150, Doblo and Bravo units $40 to $175, Croma and Scudo units $50 to $225, and Ducato filters $60 to $350.
Which other cars share a Fiat converter reference?
A great many. One 1.2 petrol reference covers the Fiat 500 and Panda with a Lancia and a Ford Ka. A 1.3 MultiJet reference covers the Punto Evo, Doblo and Fiorino with the Citroen Nemo, Peugeot Bipper and Alfa Romeo MiTo. A 1.6 JTD reference adds the Lancia Musa and Alfa Romeo Giulietta.
Is a Fiat Ducato converter worth more than a car one?
Substantially. The Ducato is built by the Fiat and PSA van joint venture and shares its reference with the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper. Its catalyst sits at $50 to $300 and the particulate filter behind it at $60 to $350, against $40 to $150 for a Panda or 500.
Why is my Fiat Panda converter worth so little?
Because it is a small converter on a small engine, and precious metal loading scales with size. At $40 to $150 it is a normal figure for that class of car rather than a poor offer. Check the code before assuming otherwise.
What do the numbers on a Fiat converter look like?
Usually a long numeric string such as 52152111 or 50542572, sometimes alongside an H-prefixed variant like H51923615. Some units instead carry short alphanumeric codes such as 3C-595J or GTBC-07. Photograph all of them and send the full set.
Figures on this page are indicative buyer ranges for complete, uncut original units and are not offers to buy. Converter types, codes and selling rules are covered on the main catalytic converter price page.
Frequently asked questions

Is a Fiat Ducato converter worth more than a Fiat car one?
Substantially. The Ducato comes from the Fiat and PSA van joint venture and shares its reference with the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper. Its catalyst sits at $50 to $300 and the particulate filter behind it at $60 to $350, against $40 to $150 for a Panda or 500.
Why is a Fiat Panda or 500 converter worth so little?
Because it is a small converter fitted to a small engine, and precious metal loading scales with size rather than badge. At $40 to $150 that is a normal figure for the class rather than a poor offer, though it is always worth quoting the stamped code to confirm.
What do the numbers on a Fiat catalytic converter look like?
Usually a long numeric string such as 52152111, 52078962 or 50542572, sometimes with an H-prefixed variant like H51923615. Some units carry short alphanumeric codes instead, in styles such as 3C-595J or GTBC-07. Photograph all of them and send the full set.
How many saleable parts does a diesel Fiat have?
Usually two. The oxidation catalyst comes first at $25 to $125, and vehicles fitted with a particulate filter carry that as a separate and generally more valuable component behind it. A single quote for the exhaust normally covers only one of the two.
